Jackson Hole to Illinois Sept. 14 through Sept. 19

Spent the night at a KOA in Jackson Hole, Wyoming after seeing Fred's cousin Toni. Then through Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa and Illinois to arrive in Warsaw, Ill to see Fred's cousin Chuck. What a beautiful country we live in.

The trees are starting to change color. Beautiful!

Cow's, Cow's everywhere.

Amish
Entering Iowa.

Corn, Corn everywhere. Anyone see Children of the Corn?

And finally cousin Chuck, wife Dee, daughter and grand daughters.

Before we left Dee invited us to her church. People all over this great country love God!

Off we go to Pittsburgh.

Sept.13 Grand Tetons to Jackson Hole, WY.

We are now leaving Yellowstone through Yellowstone to get to the Grand Tetons. We will meet Fred's cousin Toni at Jackson Lodge for lunch and then stay the night at a KOA in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This time we will be following Fred and Sandy. That is their RV and red car. Thank you God! I get to see buffalo one more time. I don't know why I'm so taken by buffalo's?

Again passing through the geysers in Yellowstone.

Can you see the water fall. We see such amazing sites as we travel. I so hope you all can experience this some day.

The Grand Tetons are majestic.

Fred was so happy to see his cousin. Can you see the Tetons behind them. What a view we had for lunch.
If you know Larry you can only imagine how thrilled he was to see this cobra. BUT .. there was a cobra convention there. He saw about 10 cobras.
Headin' to Jackson Hole for the night, following the Porters.
Here is a picture for you bike riders (Dale, Christian, Joel) This is so scary! There just isn't enough room on the roads for RV's and bikes. Please be careful if you are riding a bike on scenic highways.
Arriving in Jackson Hole for the night. They call it Jackson Hole because this town is completely surrounded by mountains and hills. But so beautiful!!

We stay the night tomorrow night in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Sept. 11, 2010 Yellowstone National Park

Almost to Yellowstone.

Another great RV Park. Thank you God! And thank you for the beauty you are allowing us to see.
"I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands." Palm 63:4

I loved the buffalo. I'm trying to up load a video but it's not working. We didn't get out of our car but that buffalo was that close.

Fred and Sandy taking picture of a heard of buffalo.

We were told that buffalo can run 3 times faster than us so to stay in our cars.

Yellowstone is the largest lava dome in the world. Very active volcanic area.

Old Faithful Geyser goes off every 45 to 55 minutes. I'm trying to upload a video but not having luck with videos????

I really didn't want to first save my video to Youtube then copy/ paste the embedded file in the blog to get this but is seems the only way to post a video. My ext. on my camera is .mov any suggestions? (Dietrich are you reading this?)

Traveling towards Yellowstone.

We left Seattle after a wonderful week. Larry needed a CVS to refill his meds and the closest CVS was in Missoula, Montana. One night at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane Washington. What a beautiful base.

Entrance to Fairchild AFB.

Off we go again.

Some ominous clouds.

Yes we hit some rain but not bad.

Now we are entering the big sky's of Montana.

Catching up on my bible reading.
Scary but we fit in this tunnel. Is Fred going to follow us. The blind leading the blind. Yes there is Fred and Sandy in our rear view mirror.

We made it to Missoula, MT. Here I am catching up on my blog or skypeing with my kids.

Tomorrow we will be in Yellowstone National Park. I hope you enjoyed the scenery.
