Headin' East

Packin' up... leaving Eagle Tree RV Park in Poulsbo, WA and headin' East.....

Passed by Puget Sound and there were aircraft carriers docked.

I love bridges!
Another benefit of traveling with the Porters -- Sandy takes pictures of us. Can you see us on the bridge?

Channel 5 is following us.

We are only about 75 miles from Puget Sound and notice how the terrain has changed.
Schotzi is already complaining she is bored and wants out of the RV.

Buddy is getting in on the grumbling too.

Did we take a wrong turn? Are we back in Palmdale or should I say Tehachapi?

This is Moses Lake. We are staying here at a Walmart for the night. Our next stop will be Fairchild AFB close to Spokane, WA. Our goal is to get to Yellowstone and spend a few days there.

Victoria in Canada

Great day in Victoria. First was the ferry ride. It took about 1 hour.

Yes!!! Our Captain said look to your right at about 12 o'clock for a pod of whales. Well I ran out side to get pictures! They were Orca's.
Three of them. A male and two females. The captain called them transients, just passing through.

A fishing boat just arrived in Victoria. The Captain said look at the blue fin tuna in the blue bag.

Arriving in Victoria.

Sea plane just taking off.

Freighter

I loved the way the sun came through the clouds.

The gardens where amazing. You can read up on them by clicking on this link:

Classic wooden boat show.

The only time we had left was to go to the Parliament building. A very good choice.

These kids where waiting for the Parliament tour also. They are from Brazil and spoke Portuguese. People are the same everywhere.

Our tour bus driver said the average 3 bedroom house in Canada is $600.000 and gas is $4.95 a gallon. We are leaving tomorrow and heading EAST. Stayed tuned!

Day in Seattle

Sleepless in Seattle. Yes I stood right where Meg Ryan stood. Pike Place Market was amazing. I didn't get to see them throw any fish. Larry bought some Cranberry Jalapeno Jelly then dropped the bag and ... well... no more jelly. But that wouldn't spoil our fun!

Pike Place Market

Yes the very first Starbucks. It orginated in Seattle.

This is called the Smith's Building. It was the tallest building on the west coast for many years.

A beautiful tribute to all the fallen firefighters.

It was Sandy and her twin brother Denny's birthday Sept. 3. Can you guess how old they are?

Tomorrow we go to Canada.................. Stay tuned!

Catch up again. We left Aug. 5 and it's Sept. 3rd

OK! I am a terrible blogger :(:( Sorry..... I really am going to try harder. We are having such a great time. The pictures are all taken off the 101 in Northern California and the Oregon Coast. So beautiful. Currently we are in Poulsbo, Washington. Tomorrow we will take the ferry into Seattle. Monday we are going to Victoria, Canada.

Paul Bunyan and his ox????? Darn.. Larry went to bed early tonight. I'll do my best to remember.

Fred painting a lighthouse.

I took this picture with my phone camera just before the sun went down.

Longest waterfall in Oregon.

Tellimock Oregon. And yes we went to the cheese factory. Ice cream wasn't that great.
Oregon Coast.

Fred painting lighthouse.

Schotzi and Buddy love hiking with us. Actually they pull us up the hills.
